HAFSA AWAN

I've been writing code for a decade now. It started with client sites, then grew into full products, AI included, and at some point I stopped noticing the difference between work and the thing I do for fun.

I met code properly during my engineering degree and, honestly, it did not go well. It felt too rigid and too cold, so I walked away. Years later, I came back with better teachers and a lot more stubbornness, and something clicked. There's a very specific kind of joy in watching an idea become something you can click on, break, and fix again at 1am.

I build things I actually care about. WorryZap exists because my daughter read about the Worry Website in a Jacqueline Wilson book and wanted her own version. AI Did This exists because I wanted somewhere real to put what I was learning about AI, instead of leaving it scattered across notes and browser tabs.

Ten years in, I still can't leave a new idea alone until I've built something with it. Right now, that means Google Cloud, stronger data science habits, and an MSc I'm completing part time.
